Attendance at regular events can be spotty this time of year with vacations and family commitments taking their toll. Last Monday night’s action shooting mini-match was no exception with only 3 shooters attending to complete the course. Even I was not able to shoot because of a conflicting board meeting although was there for the setup and take down. According to Bud it was a great course of fire, especially compared to last week. Last week he had mistakes on all stages. This week, no mistakes at all. Unfortunately that was not true for the other two shooters. Both of them managed to miss a target in the third stage, Silver Eagle picture above. Missing targets is brutal in IPSC as you get a 20 point penalty for the 2 misses as well as a 10 point penalty for a failure to engage. Plus the 10 points you might have gotten for the two A’s!
We are not able to post the results for this match to IPSC Ontario as we need 5 black badge shooters to have a sanctioned match. Looking to do better next week.
The results have been posted to our action shooters and can also be found on our action shooting score page here.
