This year’s Shot Show in Las Vegas this past January had a number of of interesting products and although I never made it down to the show this year I did follow with interest some ofthe announcements. Calibre, the Canadian Firearm Magazine posted a number of articles from the show including an article on the .510 Beck.
The cartridge is a 50 calbre round that fits in a .308 Winchester action, and uses a .308 base on the brass and can fire a 710 grain bullet out of a modified AR-10. Not a lot of practical uses for the typical shooter but it could be fun to shoot.
Check out the article from Calibre and/or watch this video from 5.11 Media.
I could see using this at the next Blackfly shoot. Ideal for the centre fire leg. 😉
