Five hardy souls braved the cool evening on Monday night to practice Mag reloads and moving while shooting. Given the proper way to perform both, now it is up to us to practice and get it down pat.
We will get the opportunity to practice both on Wednesday night at our practice match.
First course of fire will be a 22+ round stage I am calling “Clear out the crack hotel”. Starting with gun in the holster you will proceed down the hallway shooting through the open doors on either side of the hallway (don’t break 90!) clearing out the rooms. At the end, poke open the port and shoot the three dealers before they flush the stash. Moving and at least two mag changes
Second stage is the Mozambique Drill with an el Presedente. Holster loaded, hands above your head. Three terrorsists let their guards down at the buzzer and so you turn, draw and put two in the chest, one in the head on all three targets. Penalties for missing the chest. no Penalties for missing the head.
Third stage, you are sitting at a table, beer in hand watching the ball game. Trouble kicks off so you drop your beer, pick your gun and mag off the table, load and shoot two targets, twice each, then the six poppers and low and behold another target keeps peeking his head out around the barrel! Shoot him twice and then back to the game. Unfortunately, you will have to buy another beer. Notice you will have to have another loaded mag on the table. No penalties for missing the mover.
Don’t forget the gun show this weekend.
Next Wednesday I will need someone to set up and run the mini-match. I have been invited with Josh to the executive meeting to present the plans for the new ARGC website. Let me know if you can do so.
