Six people made it out to our Monday evening practice this past Monday. We started off running some rounds through Steve’s Chrony which we discovered works better with slight cloud cover than with full sun. Got some good measurements and I learned that my 7.7 grains of Autocomp with a 124 grain bullet will make major in the 38 Super. Now can load up a batch for our trip to Brighton.
We also had a 5 target drill for accuracy with the targets having less A zone exposed the closer they got to the shooter. The drill was to shoot two targets in each target shooting only for A’s with complete disregard of time. Turns out it is not easy to ignore the time. Here are the results of the practice.

Expect to see something similar in Wednesday night’s mini-match. As usual, 3 stages, under 50 rounds.
Don’t forget about the meeting on Thursday Night. It is also our annual meeting and the start of the new year for the club’s executive. Hope to see you there for the meeting and drinks afterwards.
On Saturday, a number of us are heading to Mancelona, Michigan to participate in the USPSA shoot there. It is always a great time with lots of shooting. Let me know if you have your form 6 and would like to participate. There is also an opportunity to stay overnight and shoot a smaller match in the same general area at a different club. More details if you show up Thursday!
Look for new videos from this past weekend from Crean Hill and the PSA shoot once Dale has a moment to post.
